The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Dan Hernes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, JULM C.F.'s Volli Elts got control of the ball when Per Wikander tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Hernes came free, but Viggo Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when JULM C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aapo Ainsoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tallboda Gunners getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kent Biörnberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Hernes in the 27th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Viggo Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, one of Tallboda Gunners:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tallboda Gunners. A collision led to JULM C.F. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dan Hernes hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaf Lilja to strike the kick off in the second half. Viggo Martinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Meelis Õun in the 56th minute. Viggo Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Hernes in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Hernes in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viggo Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 95 minutes, Elmu Koppelmaa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JULM C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmu Koppelmaa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viggo Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Elmu Koppelmaa sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JULM C.F. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
