With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Stig-Ove Lindqvist got control of the ball when Axel Graagaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthias Donhof struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Stig-Ove Lindqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Potters. Ghost Hunters's Stig-Ove Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Frænde in the 22nd minute of play. After 35 played minutes, The Potters's Frode Nederman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig-Ove Lindqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Potters reached it. After 36 minutes of play, The Potters's Axel Graagaard made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Ove Lindqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Ove Thedin charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Thedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Potters booed when Ghost Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Thedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Allan Lidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, The Potters's Jozef Slet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Ove Lindqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Lindqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesper Frænde.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Ove Thedin was the one to do the kick off. Stig-Ove Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Donhof in the 56th minute of play. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Timmy Wester a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Timmy Wester got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Ludwig Lehnsgaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Ove Lindqvist skillfully saved the ball. Stig-Ove Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Frænde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
