Newells Old Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Savaşer Kainat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Arlo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Arif Memduh Özsungur hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ulises Venerando notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Newells Old Boys's Savaşer Kainat. Savaşer Kainat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Arlo in the 16th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Savaşer Kainat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LACELESTEYBLANCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newells Old Boys the free kick. In the 41st minute, Ciriaco Peli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Engin Ersavaş hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Narciso Lonzo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Savaşer Kainat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Narciso Lonzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newells Old Boys's Savaşer Kainat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Memduh Özsungur was the one to do the kick off. Newells Old Boys's Savaşer Kainat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Newells Old Boys from getting a goal against them. Savaşer Kainat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Arlo in the 61st minute of the match. Savaşer Kainat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Arlo in the 65th minute. Honorio Galo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Savaşer Kainat made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ulises Venerando sent off a good shot on target. Newells Old Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LACELESTEYBLANCA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Zülfikar Fırıncı got a free kick in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Venerando got free with Savaşer Kainat in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, LACELESTEYBLANCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Lonzos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Savaşer Kainat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. LACELESTEYBLANCA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
