Tor Åkerberg's late challenge caught a ViHörs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor Åkerberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Skollholmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Tor Åkerberg. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Hugo Thorsberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ingvar Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Hugo Thorsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skollholmen FC's Billy Falck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Christian Juhlin fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skollholmen FC's protests and gave Christian Juhlin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Christian Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Hugo Thorsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Falck made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ingvar Kellbom sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Skollholmen FC's Tor Åkerberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. ViHörs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Skollholmen FC defense, Ingvar Kellbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Falck. The Skollholmen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Falck should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Ingvar Kellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ViHörs's Ingvar Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billy Falck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Thorsberg's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Nils-Emil Grönberg collided with one of Skollholmen FC's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. When Stig Helström fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skollholmen FC's protests and gave Stig Helström a yellow card for diving instead. Stig Helström hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match.
