That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. Şaban Salah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Kolano in the 27th minute of the match. If Ali Haydar İhlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Krasnosielc defense, Duran Oytun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrzej Zdeb. The FC Krasnosielc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrzej Zdeb should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borys Kolano got free with Şaban Salah in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
