Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guillermo Bortzaioriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Quebrachitos FC's Clemente Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Figueiras in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Vítor Sacramento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Louis. Vítor Sacramento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higino Valente got free with Clemente Louis in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ademar Figueiras came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ponte do Carro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Figueiras couldn't finish the play. If Vítor Sacramento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente Louis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Sacramento in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Guillermo Bortzaioriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alípio Regalado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Quebrachitos FC's Clemente Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Figueiras in the 24th minute of play. Alípio Regalado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Bortzaioriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Leandro Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ignacio Rico hit a great ball. Alípio Regalado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Bortzaioriz in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Guillermo Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Regalado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Cardoso. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Figueiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Quebrachitos FC were furious when Alberto Jerardo was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Clemente Louis came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ponte do Carro's Ademar Figueiras. But to his dismay, Ademar Figueiras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Fabricio Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alípio Regalado came out of the goal and Fabricio Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alípio Regalado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Rico's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 66th minute Vítor Sacramento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higino Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Clemente Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Bortzaioriz's late challenge caught a Ponte do Carro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Bortzaioriz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guillermo Bortzaioriz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Silvério Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte do Carro's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Louis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachitos FC's zone, Ademar Figueiras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Louis came out of the goal and Ademar Figueiras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Sacramento struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Clemente Louis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte do Carro. Clemente Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Sacramento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Alípio Regalado made a huge save. Ponte do Carro's Moisés Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregório Modesto charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregório Modesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregório Modesto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Ignacio Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
