Guillermo Bortzaioriz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Veli Özbek made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Julio Michael sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Quebrachitos FC's Julio Michael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Veli Özbek. Veli Özbek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 45th minute, Quebrachitos FC's Ignacio Rico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Poyraz Gündoğan made the kick off in the second half. Veli Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Bortzaioriz in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Rico in the 56th minute of play forced STARS TEAM's goalkeeper Veli Özbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of Quebrachitos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of STARS TEAM:s goal. Veli Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Michael in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Benicio Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebrachitos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARS TEAM the free kick. Benicio Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Julio Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veli Özbek having to interfere. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when STARS TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurkan Baybora didn't get a good kick on the ball.
