Boni Arregui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Salgado in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Alfredão de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedé da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Terres in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Alfredão de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedé da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Remigio Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarin Alberete to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Atletico Aragua FC's Remigio Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedé da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ronaldão Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boni Arregui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldão Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Melchor Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dedé da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Terres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Salgado in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Aragua FC's zone, Alfredão de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boni Arregui came out of the goal and Alfredão de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Ronaldão Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boni Arregui was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vânderson da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Boni Arregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Blas Terres made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Salgado came free, but Boni Arregui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Cerezo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Aragua FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Remigio Cerezo hit a great ball. If Luiz Gustavo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Boni Arregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Ronaldão Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Arregui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boni Arregui came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Luiz Gustavo Trigo. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dedé da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Terres, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Vânderson da Cunha got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Blas Terres came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Atletico Aragua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Terres couldn't finish the play. Doni Furtado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Boni Arregui firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alfredão de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEST FABIO F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boni Arregui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gentza Natos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldão Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. BEST FABIO F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
