The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the União dos 7 FC defense, Ronnie Schilder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan Furlan. The União dos 7 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan Furlan should have stopped the shot. Renan Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudi Tenhagen in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder got a free kick in the 10th minute. Olaf Lübke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Saldanha in the 11th minute of play. Renan Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Tenhagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Renan Furlan came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder. But to his dismay, Ronnie Schilder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Reinhold Friedl fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Otten's protests and gave Reinhold Friedl a yellow card for diving instead. Reinhold Friedl hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jairo Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Rudi Tenhagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, União dos 7 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Renan Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Schilder in the 37th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Renan Furlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rudi Tenhagen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renan Furlan came out and tried to block the shot, but Rudi Tenhagen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 81st minute. Renan Furlan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of SC Otten booed when União dos 7 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
