Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Salgado in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleiton Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vânderson da Cunha took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleiton Alcântara. Cleiton Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alfredão de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cleiton Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Durval Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldão Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronaldão Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alberto Rocha hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Cleiton Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleiton Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão de Senna in the 45th minute of play. The Pereiras FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BEST FABIO F.C. were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durval Torres to make the kick off. Durval Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Ronaldão Salgado rounded Pereiras FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Leonardo Sanches hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Evandro Cunha from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Cleiton Alcântara's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 62nd minute, Alfredão de Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleiton Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Cleiton Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alfredão de Senna sent off a good shot on target. Pereiras FC's Cleiton Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Salgado in the 90th minute of play.
