Fabiano Negri made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Augusto Lopez immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Bastos in the 12th minute of play forced Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Hampus Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ragnar Sjöberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Dag Broman. Hampus Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hampus Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Bastos in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Guto Bastos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hampus Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Francisco Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjörn Sjöberg in the 29th minute. Baltazar Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Sampaio. João Francisco Viana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kenny Asserlindh. A collision led to Sjötorp IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leonardo Sjöberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Leal in the 34th minute of play forced Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Hampus Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Edvaldo Leal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hampus Sjöberg. 38 minutes into the game, Sjötorp IF's Leonardo Sjöberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Francisco Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a little luck, Capivara FC's João Francisco Viana got control of the ball when George Ström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guto Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Hedvall charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Hedvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Rune Hedvall got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Sjöberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amauri Sampaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hampus Sjöberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Amauri Sampaio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 55th minute. Hampus Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Sampaio in the 63rd minute of play. Guto Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hampus Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sjötorp IF defense, Guto Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hampus Sjöberg. The Sjötorp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hampus Sjöberg should have stopped the shot. João Francisco Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Sjöberg in the 72nd minute of play. Leonardo Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Viana having to interfere. Edvaldo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hampus Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hampus Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Hampus Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sjötorp IF's Hampus Sjöberg got control of the ball when Edvaldo Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sjötorp IF's Hampus Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Negri in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Sjötorp IF booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hampus Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Negri in the 92nd minute of play. If Edvaldo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capivara FC played a much better game than Sjötorp IF and deserved their victory. The Sjötorp IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
