In the 19th minute, Cristobal Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Saraiva charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geraldo Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Geraldo Saraiva got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Guto Bastos hit a great ball. Mauro Alonso came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Edvaldo Leal. But to his dismay, Edvaldo Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dorival Carvalho hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Sampaio in the 37th minute of play forced Inriville cordoba.'s goalkeeper Mauro Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inriville cordoba.'s Mauro Alonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Inriville cordoba. from getting a goal against them. When Sid Ali Cojan came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Inriville cordoba. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Ali Cojan couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvaldo Leal was the one to do the kick off. Amauri Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Inriville cordoba.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guto Bastos came free, but Mauro Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Bastos in the 63rd minute of play. When Capivara FC's Amauri Sampaio in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Mauro Alonso guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Mauro Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sid Ali Cojan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. João Francisco Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Alonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Inriville cordoba.'s Silvano Odon got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cristobal Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's Edvaldo Leal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Sid Ali Cojan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capivara FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
