Jef De Langhe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With his leg Jef De Langhe managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when FC GURZUN's Iustinian Drăghincescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Gorjanu to maneuver through the defense. Club Brugge's Jef De Langhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Club Brugge from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Club Brugge getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fredrik Wijgaert hit a great ball. Fredrik Wijgaert charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Wijgaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jef De Langhe saved Club Brugge from getting behind. During the 29th minute of the match Fredrik Wijgaert completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fredrik Wijgaert a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 29th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Wijgaert to maneuver through the defense. The FC GURZUN fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when FC GURZUN's Iustinian Drăghincescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Iustinian Drăghincescu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the FC GURZUN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Drăghincescu couldn't finish the play. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's Soren Leenders. But to his dismay, Soren Leenders quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Iustinian Drăghincescu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Soren Leenders. Club Brugge's Soren Leenders got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Soren Leenders off the ground. In the 54th minute, Soren Leenders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Jarno Leemans got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, FC GURZUN's Augustin Gorjanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jef De Langhe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Club Brugge's Jef De Langhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 74th minute of play. Ferdinand Brănescu charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Brănescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Brugge's Jakob Wery was substituted for Rolf Toussain. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ferdinand Brănescu hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Augustin Gorjanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jef De Langhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Jef De Langhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Gorjanu in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jef De Langhe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jef De Langhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC GURZUN had won after a very even match.
