The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu got control of the ball when Marcus Tidén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Åke Blanck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Käller came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Ifrim to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Vilhelm Käller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. FC GURZUN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilhelm Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sven-Åke Blanck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Gorjanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Åke Fransson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, one of Hagmoren BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 33 played minutes Hagmoren BK got a freekick which was hit by Uno Haglund. Cristinel Trapcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Hagmoren BK's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Drăghincescu came free, but Sven-Åke Blanck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Remus Sinulescu hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Käller made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hagmoren BK's Uno Haglund got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's Mihail Ifrim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Åke Blanck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Cristinel Trapcea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hagmoren BK's Sven-Åke Blanck. Sven-Åke Blanck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Nils-Åke Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Hagmoren BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Åke Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 76th minute of play forced Hagmoren BK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Blanck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Käller struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cătălin Dăianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hagmoren BK. In the 90th minute, Mugurel Ştefănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hagmoren BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
