Maximiliano Dei was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dagoberto Sanches. Tales Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Dei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Julio Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Amadeo Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 【E ➣VERON 11's Maximiliano Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Sanches in the 44th minute of play. Julio Jesco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horácio da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Amadeo Truylos made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 【E ➣VERON 11's Constantino Nesto got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dagoberto Sanches, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 78th minute, one of ROSÁRIO SPORT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ROSÁRIO SPORT. Julio Jesco in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Horácio da Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedrão Porto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes 【E ➣VERON 11 got a freekick which was hit by Hector Arano. In the 93rd minute of the match Pedrão Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximiliano Dei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 97th minute of the match Alex Fantini completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alex Fantini a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 98th minute, Alex Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ROSÁRIO SPORT lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
