The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximiliano Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Váldson Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, 【E ➣VERON 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Montay to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Menendo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Abraão during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Menendo in the 29th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Tirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Abraão. 30 minutes into the game, Amadeo Truylos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jonas Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The attack was good, but when Willian Cunha in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Tirense F.C. booed when 【E ➣VERON 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Moura in the 37th minute of play forced 【E ➣VERON 11's goalkeeper Maximiliano Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 【E ➣VERON 11's Maximiliano Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Cunha in the 40th minute of play. Váldson Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Dei having to make a save. In the 44th minute Willian Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Menendo to make the kick off. Gervasio Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonas Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Menendo came free, but Jonas Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Maximiliano Dei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maximiliano Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Abraão in the 62nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Marinho in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 【E ➣VERON 11's Patricio Montay got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Gervasio Menendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 83rd minute Gervasio Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
