Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antônio Dantas started the match with the kick off. Tirense F.C.'s Jonas Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Schockaert in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Cunha in the 13th minute of play forced Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Robby Klopterop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Schockaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Willian Cunha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lopidato FC's Robby Klopterop. Robby Klopterop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 27 minutes, Antônio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tirense F.C.'s Willian Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Willian Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Antônio Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Lopidato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luukas Dirckx to maneuver through the defense. Willian Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrad Switten made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Dantas in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robby Klopterop saved Lopidato FC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Serge Van Kamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lopidato FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tirense F.C. the free kick. Antônio Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Robby Klopterop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Abraão hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Cléber Pinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robby Klopterop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antônio Dantas struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Robby Klopterop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tirense F.C.. In the 97thth minute of the game Antônio Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lopidato FC's Robby Klopterop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tirense F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lopidato FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
