Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vaidas Rakauskas started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Savage Hippo's Vaidas Rakauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorian Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Naglis Bajoriūnas got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Miguel Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Microsoft Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Lopes in the 17th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Jogaila Palčiauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lúcio Arce fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Lúcio Arce a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Arce to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Edmundas Kšanavičius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian Catarinense. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Catarinense should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Cauã Vinhas got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Vaidas Rakauskas came free, but Dorian Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Savage Hippo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luan Pontes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Naglis Bajoriūnas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Eduardo Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 55th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Jogaila Palčiauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Raphael Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Microsoft Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Miguel Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jogaila Palčiauskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luan Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jogaila Palčiauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrius Klusas to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eduardo Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan Pontes in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jogaila Palčiauskas saved Savage Hippo from getting behind. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Nojus Mitkevičius. In the 75th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Jogaila Palčiauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lopes in the 90th minute of play. Andrius Klusas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
