Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislovas Milčius in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Danas Kilčiauskas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Andrius Klusas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jogaila Palčiauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislovas Milčius in the 17th minute of play. Jogaila Palčiauskas was a little too slow when Stanislovas Milčius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linas Matukaitis got free with Jogaila Palčiauskas in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linas Matukaitis in the 38th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Jogaila Palčiauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simonas Bielinis might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naglis Gilaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simonas Bielinis ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaidas Rakauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danas Kilčiauskas in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Stanislovas Milčius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jogaila Palčiauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Vaidas Rakauskas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaidas Rakauskas couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Stanislovas Milčius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jogaila Palčiauskas. Savage Hippo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislovas Milčius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Edmundas Kšanavičius hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Saulius Vaineikis's late challenge caught a Savage Hippo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saulius Vaineikis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldas Makelevičius in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Savage Hippo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Karamba.
