The referee ignored BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Silvestre Niguel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Silvestre Niguel hit a great ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Fernando Banders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Waldir Marquez got a free kick in the 12th minute. Higinio Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Banders in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Azevedo got free with Higinio Gonzales in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Fernando Banders notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales. Higinio Gonzales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiago Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Higinio Gonzales made a huge save. If Aureliano Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caetano Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Higinio Gonzales made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Tiago Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Higinio Gonzales, 2-0. Higinio Gonzales was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiago Ortiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Waldir Marquez hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Tiago Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. Bandeca FC's Luiz Gustavo Couto was substituted for Caetano Azevedo. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Aureliano Javiero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredo Magalhães, made in the 61st minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Couto came free, but Higinio Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Bandeca FC. Tiago Ortiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Higinio Gonzales. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Adilson Simão got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 70 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Soares. 74 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Gonzales. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Gustavo Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 80 minutes into the game, Hernan Raitin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandeca FC the free kick. Hernan Raitin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Higinio Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Tiago Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandeca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Higinio Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Couto in the 91st minute of the match. Fernando Banders charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Banders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Banders hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Higinio Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Marquez in the 97th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Juvenal got a free kick in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bandeca FC fully deserved thier win.
