Jorge Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Qijua F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Machado to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Munhoz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Qijua F.C's Rony Lopez got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Enrique Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qijua F.C's protests and gave Enrique Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Qijua F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundas Kšanavičius to maneuver through the defense. Jogaila Palčiauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Britto in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Qijua F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Nojus Mitkevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savage Hippo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nojus Mitkevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaidas Rakauskas in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Válter de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Qijua F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Vaidas Rakauskas came free, but Hélio de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Naglis Bajoriūnas got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Britto came free, but Jogaila Palčiauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jogaila Palčiauskas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gildo Mendonça. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Andrius Klusas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Enrique Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jogaila Palčiauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Vaidas Rakauskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qijua F.C's Hélio de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Munhoz in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaidas Rakauskas in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélio de Castro saved Qijua F.C from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Britto to make the kick off. Vaidas Rakauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Thiago Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Enrique Munhoz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas. Jogaila Palčiauskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Simonas Bielinis got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Gildo Mendonça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jogaila Palčiauskas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gildo Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Simonas Bielinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vaidas Rakauskas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaidas Rakauskas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 79 minutes, Vaidas Rakauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savage Hippo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaidas Rakauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliksas Mickeliūnas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, Gildo Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jogaila Palčiauskas came out of the goal and Gildo Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jogaila Palčiauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savage Hippo's Simonas Bielinis got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Simonas Bielinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Qijua F.C could leave the field as winners, despite Savage Hippo having more of the ball for most of the match.
