The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Juvenal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Romulo Juvenal managed to get in a good position for a shot. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Juvenal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jogaila Palčiauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Jogaila Palčiauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Juvenal. Aureliano Javiero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jogaila Palčiauskas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Romulo Juvenal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Savage Hippo the free kick. After 22 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Juvenal. Higinio Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaidas Rakauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kęstutis Gasaitis to maneuver through the defense. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Hernan Raitin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kęstutis Gasaitis, made in the 29th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Savage Hippo defense, Romulo Juvenal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jogaila Palčiauskas. The Savage Hippo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jogaila Palčiauskas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Javiero in the 35th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Jogaila Palčiauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Savage Hippo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aureliano Javiero hit a great ball. Edmundas Kšanavičius hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Germanas Ramanauskas threw the ball into play from the sideline. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Hernan Raitin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Germanas Ramanauskas made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Hernan Raitin. After 72 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Javiero. 74 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Juvenal came free, but Jogaila Palčiauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Valentas Podėris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Simonas Bielinis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Hernan Raitin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kęstutis Gasaitis, made in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Hernan Raitin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Pepillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jogaila Palčiauskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Pepillo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Germanas Ramanauskas. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB had won after a very even match.
