Flávio Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio de Castro having to make a save. In the 12th minute Thiago Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Thiago Britto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kléberson Soeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kléberson Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Britto in the 22nd minute of the match. Fernando Banders took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélio de Castro. Hélio de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Kléberson Soeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Qijua F.C's Arlindo Dante got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Qijua F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Ortiz came free, but Hélio de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
