Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Vaidas Rakauskas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Romulo Juvenal made a precise shot to the right of Jogaila Palčiauskas. Savage Hippo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Germanas Ramanauskas threw the ball into play from the sideline. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Aresti quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Higinio Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundas Kšanavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jogaila Palčiauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Juvenal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Silvestre Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 20 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Andrius Klusas. In the 24th minute Romulo Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jogaila Palčiauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jogaila Palčiauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, Romulo Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jogaila Palčiauskas came out of the goal and Romulo Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Simonas Bielinis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Simonas Bielinis got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Vaidas Rakauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Gonzales having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Romulo Juvenal managed to get in a good position for a shot. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Juvenal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jogaila Palčiauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Savage Hippo were furious when Andrius Klusas was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 61st minute, one of Savage Hippo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Savage Hippo. The throw-in from Germanas Ramanauskas in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Aresti. With a little luck, Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas got control of the ball when Romulo Juvenal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaidas Rakauskas to maneuver through the defense. In the 77thth minute of the game Romulo Juvenal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edmundas Kšanavičius, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Higinio Gonzales was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kęstutis Gasaitis made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Aresti. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Germanas Ramanauskas in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Aresti. A hard shot 92 in the game by Romulo Juvenal from a close distance when the talented Jogaila Palčiauskas managed to make a qualified save. Savage Hippo's players were relieved.
