After 18 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo de Carvalho. When Hélder Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandeca FC's protests and gave Hélder Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Hélder Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Tiago Ortiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Ortzi. Tiago Ortiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Ortiz got free with Ricardo Ortzi in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mosbius Designs's Inocencio Erasto got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bandeca FC's Tiago Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Ortiz got free with Ricardo Ortzi in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute, Tiago Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Ortzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 62 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Gaspar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Ortiz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Gaspar in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Mosbius Designs got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Erasto. Eulalio Noe hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ricardo Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Bandeca FC booed when Mosbius Designs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Tiago Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Mosbius Designs's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Ortiz came free, but Ricardo Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mosbius Designs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
