Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Mustafa Numan Bayındır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıfkı Tanpınar in the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rıfkı Tanpınar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Numan Bayındır was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Evcilerspor's goalkeeper Mustafa Numan Bayındır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıfkı Tanpınar. Mustafa Numan Bayındır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Tanpınar in the 13th minute of play. Arın İldeniz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Kaan Akboğa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gençlerbirliği fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Rahim Özakıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güner Tarancı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat İlkcan in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Evcilerspor booed when Gençlerbirliği was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eray Özgurcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Cihat İlkcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güner Tarancı. Gençlerbirliği's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cihat İlkcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 38th minute, Rıfkı Tanpınar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gençlerbirliği fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rıfkı Tanpınar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mustafa Numan Bayındır. That made the score 4-1 in the 42 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cihat İlkcan made a kick off. Mustafa Numan Bayındır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfkı Tanpınar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Şenol Saatçioğlu. 58 minutes into the match, Cihat İlkcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güner Tarancı. Gençlerbirliği's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cihat İlkcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 62 minutes of play, Gençlerbirliği's Rıfkı Tanpınar made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Numan Bayındır was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kaan Akboğa hit a great ball. If Cihat İlkcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arın İldeniz charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arın İldeniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Evcilerspor got a freekick which was hit by Arın İldeniz. 77 minutes into the game, Rıfkı Tanpınar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gençlerbirliği's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Evcilerspor the free kick. Mustafa Numan Bayındır came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Gençlerbirliği's Rıfkı Tanpınar. But to his dismay, Rıfkı Tanpınar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Kaan Akboğa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gençlerbirliği had won after a very even match.
