When Jan-Nicolas Max came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Arbing FSV - yougame.at fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Nicolas Max couldn't finish the play. Gençlerbirliği's Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Nicolas Max in the 7th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Rıfkı Tanpınar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arbing FSV - yougame.at's Hans-Joachim Krüsmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Zommer in the 26th minute of play. Yavuz Selimhan Açıkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arslan Songurhan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gençlerbirliği's Yavuz Selimhan Açıkel got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Arbing FSV - yougame.at fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Arbing FSV - yougame.at's Jan Zommer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Arbing FSV - yougame.at were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rıfkı Tanpınar made a kick off. Gencer Sair kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jörg Kühbauer missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 69 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz right hand side. With a little luck, Gençlerbirliği's Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz got control of the ball when Jan Zommer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Nicolas Max in the 82nd minute of play. When Sufi Tayguner fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gençlerbirliği's protests and gave Sufi Tayguner a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Sufi Tayguner. In the 87th minute Rıfkı Tanpınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Joachim Krüsmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Nicolas Max was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match was over Arbing FSV - yougame.at could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gençlerbirliği throughout the match.
