Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júlio Pombal started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cuervo Loco FC booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cipriano Arixo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. In the 21st minute, Fabiano de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Froylan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ronaldão Mazza sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Milanis E.C. defense, Emilio Ilazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. The Milanis E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 39th minute of play forced Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Ismael Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Milanis E.C.'s Ronaldão Mazza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Froylan. That made the score 1-2 after 40 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gonsalve in the 50th minute of play. Cuervo Loco FC's Generoso Ofelio pulled a muscle in his leg after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego dos Santos during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cuervo Loco FC's German Ubelteso was substituted for Generoso Ofelio. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Diego dos Santos got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of Cuervo Loco FC booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Froylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto das Neves in the 60th minute of play. Emilio Ilazki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jacinto de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Diego dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Ubelteso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Milanis E.C.'s zone, Cipriano Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto de Azevedo came out of the goal and Cipriano Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Ubelteso in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto de Azevedo saved Milanis E.C. from getting behind. Emilio Ilazki came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacinto de Azevedo could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervo Loco FC's zone, Augusto das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Froylan came out of the goal and Augusto das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Pombal. The Cuervo Loco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
