The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Arsenal MGK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Maurinho Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenal MGK's Rui Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Teixeira in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Arsenal MGK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Maurinho Aparecido hit a great ball. Virgílio dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When %teams%'s Virgílio dos Santos was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 28 minutes into the game. Guilherme Duarte was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 32nd minute Gil Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Arsenal MGK got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Aparecido. In the 39th minute Sidnei Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Hoffmann in the 40th minute of play forced Arsenal MGK's goalkeeper Rui Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Teixeira in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute Sidnei Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgílio dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio dos Santos came free, but Guilherme Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Souto made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gualter Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Virgílio dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Gualter Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Souto. Arsenal MGK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
