After 46 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Mazza. Jacinto de Azevedo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zbyszek Antoszewski. The TS Barca Skawina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milanis E.C. were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Pombal to make the kick off. Zé Carlos da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Teofil Charamut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
