San Lorenzo's Alfredo Pancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. Guilherme Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Alfredo Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Elder Lago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Pancho. That made the score 1-2 after 24 minutes of play. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Nafarroa in the 28th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho de Salles. 43 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Alfredo Pancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Queirós. Guilherme Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arturo Lehior made the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Maureo's late challenge caught a Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Maureo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Erasmo Maureo hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Meira to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Maureo in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Jakes got free with Guilherme Duarte in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 minutes, Zézinho de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and the San Lorenzo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zézinho de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Rodrigo Jakes scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Teixeira in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Pancho saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. In the 86th minute of the match, Victorino Nafarroa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guilherme Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. San Lorenzo played a much better game than Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and deserved their victory. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
