Jerônimo Meirelles was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arsenal MGK! Rui Souto had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Romeo Osorio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 84th minute, Romeo Osorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catarinense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Arsenal MGK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Godfredo Gabon scored to the left of an out of position Rui Souto, making the score, 1-4. 98 minutes into the match, Arsenal MGK's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Gabon came free, but Rui Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
