The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Cuervo Loco FC booed when Airetupal EXC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pueblo Zuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Conrado Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Ilazki to make the kick off. Emilio Ilazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rameriz Guitian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Airetupal EXC's Marcelito Lasurtigui got a free kick in the 67th minute. Cuervo Loco FC's Emilio Ilazki got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Airetupal EXC's Rameriz Guitian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Ofelio in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Airetupal EXC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ilazki came free, but Rameriz Guitian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rameriz Guitian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cuervo Loco FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Teodoro Jatsu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Arixo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cipriano Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Generoso Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rameriz Guitian. Airetupal EXC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
