The referee ignored Tierra del Fuego FC's protests and gave Emiliano Adrio a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Emiliano Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tierra del Fuego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Adrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilmar Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Otávio Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Leheren. Tierra del Fuego FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Elói Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, Canarinho Atordoado's Otávio Pimenta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Leheren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes Tierra del Fuego FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Adrio. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Tierra del Fuego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canarinho Atordoado the free kick. Emiliano Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nilmar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Dario Lopez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Canarinho Atordoado's Guga Pernambucano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Celso Otsoko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Tande having to make a save. Tierra del Fuego FC's Angelo Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Pimenta in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Allan Tepedino got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Celso Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias de Mendonça during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
