Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evandro Azeredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Diogo Dionísio got a free kick in the 4th minute. Nilmar Tande made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Adérito Castro sent off a good shot on target. After 7 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Matos. Evandro Azeredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Tande having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Aristides Mascarenhas got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Otávio Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Rocha. Alcides Gama struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Nilmar Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA COSA NOSTRA. Luiz Fábio Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, LA COSA NOSTRA's Evandro Azeredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alcides Gama's late challenge caught a Canarinho Atordoado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alcides Gama helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Alcides Gama got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Noel Curado hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otávio Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilmar Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evandro Azeredo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 63 minutes of play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Alcides Gama made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilmar Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilmar Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Gama in the 76th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Azeredo to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Afonso Toscano in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Fábio Rocha. After 92 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Rocha. In the 94th minute of the match Afonso Toscano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilmar Tande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Azeredo in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Canarinho Atordoado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LA COSA NOSTRA.
