With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manu Gyselinx in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conan Worth saved Clapham Rovers from getting behind. A collision led to Clapham Rovers getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Shane Howden hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Vinnie Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Manu Gyselinx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Osmond in the 31st minute of the match. Abel Van Meerbek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42nd minute Manu Gyselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Worth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manu Gyselinx's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Conan Worth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Blakewell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Freddy Blakewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Christian Mangelschot seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Christian Mangelschot the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KFC Paal-Tervant protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Christian Mangelschot had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 55 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Christian Mangelschot. Sly Baker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Conan Worth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vanden Driessche in the 58th minute of play. Conan Worth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marten de Nijs's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, KFC Paal-Tervant's William Vanden Driessche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conan Worth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 64 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Shane Howden. After 65 played minutes, KFC Paal-Tervant's Jorne Verhofstadt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conan Worth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Paal-Tervant reached it. 67 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Child came free, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Tobias Geeraerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham Rovers the free kick. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Freddy Blakewell sent off a good shot on target. Conan Worth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Van Meerbek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Paal-Tervant's Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Eslworth in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manu Gyselinx to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sly Baker in the 89th minute really tested Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Child, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. KFC Paal-Tervant's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
