Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Mihai in the 4th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Gavril Mihai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Van Meerbeks short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ionel Fecioru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, William Vanden Driessche dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ionel Fecioru, 1-2. In the 26th minute, Felix Bratoloveanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eantdit FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Mihai in the 29th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Paal-Tervant were furious when Jorne Verhofstadt was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in KFC Paal-Tervant fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Eantdit FK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ivan Niculescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Bratoloveanu in the 37th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Felix Bratoloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Tăbăcaru in the 39th minute of the match. Felix Bratoloveanu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Bratoloveanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Eantdit FK's Felix Bratoloveanu got a free kick in the 41st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Peter Kerckmans in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eantdit FK's Gigel Tăbăcaru. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Paal-Tervant's zone, Felix Bratoloveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt came out of the goal and Felix Bratoloveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Patrik Kint fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Paal-Tervant's protests and gave Patrik Kint a yellow card for diving instead. Patrik Kint hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Eantdit FK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavril Mihai made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ivan Niculescu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of KFC Paal-Tervant's Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Peter Kerckmans with Patrik Kint as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. William Vanden Driessche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Fecioru having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Bratoloveanu got free with Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Abel Van Meerbek got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Iustinian Bărbat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KFC Paal-Tervant's Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt didn't even have to move. In the 66th minute Felix Bratoloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diederick Van de Gaer charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diederick Van de Gaer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Diederick Van de Gaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Eantdit FK's Felix Bratoloveanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt. That made the score 1-6 after 69 minutes of play. Gigel Tăbăcaru hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gavril Mihai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt came out and tried to block the shot, but Gavril Mihai slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Paal-Tervant's zone, Gavril Mihai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt came out of the goal and Gavril Mihai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gavril Mihai took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Eantdit FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Iriza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eantdit FK's Ionel Fecioru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Kint in the 88th minute of play. William Vanden Driessche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Fecioru having to interfere. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was a little too slow when Ivan Niculescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-9. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eantdit FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
