The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Mellin in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dênis Matos hit a great ball. Allan Vinström struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Nilmar Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. In the 8th minute of the match, Allan Vinström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilmar Tande saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Jens-Ove Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Knut Blom fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Knut Blom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute of the match Luís Gustavo Souza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddie Söderlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Vinström in the 24th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Knut Blom threw the ball into play from the sideline. Canarinho Atordoado's Allan Tepedino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 36 minutes into the match, Allan Vinström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilmar Tande. Canarinho Atordoado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Vinström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 40th minute, Allan Vinström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilmar Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Luís Gustavo Souza came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Canarinho Atordoado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Souza couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Gustavo Souza to make the kick off. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mathias Lindman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Allan Vinström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Fredric Botvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Botvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luís Gustavo Souza came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Canarinho Atordoado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Souza couldn't finish the play. Fredric Botvidsson took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar Tande. Nilmar Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Fredric Botvidsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Tande having to make a save. 86 minutes into the game, Fredric Botvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Nilmar Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Vinström in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Botvidsson in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dênis Matos hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Kind of Blue were the better team. Kind of Blue's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
