The crowd rose to their feet as FC Momlinho's Vilhelm Boklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conan Worth. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the game, Freddy Blakewell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Rovers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Momlinho the free kick. Glenn Osmond struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rikard Ahlstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clapham Rovers. During the 40th minute of the match Freddy Blakewell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Freddy Blakewell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinnie Bartlett to maneuver through the defense.
