Knut Blom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Patrik Kint cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Freddie Söderlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Marten de Nijs got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Botvidsson came free, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Allan Vinström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Wiktor Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Tobias Geeraerts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Paal-Tervant and the Kind of Blue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Allan Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
KFC Paal-Tervant's Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Paal-Tervant from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Manu Gyselinx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 61st minute, Jens-Ove Käcker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 64 played minutes, KFC Paal-Tervant's Dante Weggers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Paal-Tervant reached it. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Torsberg in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes in the game Knut Blom got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 72nd minute, Manu Gyselinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manu Gyselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Allan Vinström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Fredric Botvidsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jens-Ove Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Jonas Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Gyselinx in the 88th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Vinström got free with Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddie Söderlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manu Gyselinx in the 94th minute of the match. Allan Vinström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KFC Paal-Tervant were victorious despite being under pressure from Kind of Blue for much of the match.
