After a defensive mix-up in KFC Paal-Tervant's zone, Adérito Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt came out of the goal and Adérito Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Azeredo in the 21st minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Alcides Gama fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt, passed just outside the right post. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Evandro Azeredo sent off a good shot on target. William Vanden Driessche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Lameiras having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Afonso Portugal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, KFC Paal-Tervant's Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt got control of the ball when Evandro Azeredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Azeredo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Alcides Gama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Paal-Tervant's Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Marten de Nijs fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Paal-Tervant's protests and gave Marten de Nijs a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Marten de Nijs. Louis-Philippe Van Gorpt didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when LA COSA NOSTRA's Evandro Azeredo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. There was no doubt that LA COSA NOSTRA were the better team. LA COSA NOSTRA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
