The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Azeredo got free with Angelo Leheren in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Leheren made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Afonso Portugal sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Leheren was a little too slow when Adriano Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Tierra del Fuego FC's Angelo Leheren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Tierra del Fuego FC from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Tierra del Fuego FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Mede. Angelo Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA COSA NOSTRA's Evandro Azeredo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hugo Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacob Lameiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Almeida got free with Angelo Leheren in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Tierra del Fuego FC's Angelo Leheren got control of the ball when Evandro Azeredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute Alcides Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Mede made a kick off. Angelo Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA COSA NOSTRA. Tierra del Fuego FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Azeredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Afonso Portugal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Leheren was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Angelo Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Alcides Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Portugal in the 70th minute of the match. Evandro Azeredo scored 6-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Leheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Azeredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Evandro Azeredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Mede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jacob Lameiras made a huge save. Angelo Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Azeredo in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when LA COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Curado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes, Tierra del Fuego FC's Hugo Mede shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacob Lameiras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tierra del Fuego FC reached it. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Adriano Almeida got a free kick in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the game, LA COSA NOSTRA's Afonso Portugal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Leheren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 94th minute, Evandro Azeredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA COSA NOSTRA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When the referee ended the match the LA COSA NOSTRA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
