Kristian Käcker charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristian Käcker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Kristian Käcker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 4 minutes, Glenn Osmond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn Osmond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Lindman to maneuver through the defense. Freddie Söderlund made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Freddy Blakewell sent off a good shot on target. Wiktor Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Glenn Osmond struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Freddie Söderlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clapham Rovers. Freddy Blakewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham Rovers's zone, Jens-Ove Käcker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conan Worth came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Käcker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Clapham Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Vinström came free, but Conan Worth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clapham Rovers's Conan Worth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Botvidsson in the 18th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Clapham Rovers's Freddy Blakewell made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddie Söderlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens-Ove Käcker hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Conan Worth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Vinström in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Dale Friend was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Rovers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kind of Blue the free kick. After a rather tough play, Clapham Rovers's Dale Friend got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Fredric Botvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredric Botvidsson couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Marty Child reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Freddie Söderlund. The goal made the score 2-0. After 43 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Dale Friend. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Vinström was the one to do the kick off. Freddie Söderlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Child in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Blakewell in the 52nd minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clapham Rovers's Conan Worth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Rovers from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Konrad Henriksson hit a great ball. Kind of Blue's Freddie Söderlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Child in the 62nd minute of play. When Allan Vinström came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Vinström couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Osmond during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 2-1 became the score in the 68th minute when Allan Vinström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Shane Howden charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shane Howden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conan Worth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Allan Vinström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conan Worth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kind of Blue's Fredric Botvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clapham Rovers's Conan Worth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Vinström in the 86th minute of play. Allan Vinströms short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Conan Worth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute, Allan Vinström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Allan Vinström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Worth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Käcker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conan Worth having to make a save. Clapham Rovers's Freddy Blakewell got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Marty Child managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clapham Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Child was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddie Söderlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kind of Blue's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Clapham Rovers had won, even though Kind of Blue had held more of the ball.
