Spectators: 7376 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 20) TÜRKİSTAN 61's Affan Talaykut started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Carsten Klaasens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seagulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Carsten Klaasens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kubilay Talay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Affan Talaykut sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the game, Wilco Owusu Abeyie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seagulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TÜRKİSTAN 61 the free kick. In the 11th minute, Wilco Owusu Abeyie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökcan Onkal in the 13th minute of the match. Seagulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Affan Talaykut scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Joost Smeekes, making the score, 1-0. After 16 minutes of play, Seagulls's Kurt Schröer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kubilay Talay was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Affan Talaykut. Kubilay Talay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilco Owusu Abeyie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by TÜRKİSTAN 61's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carsten Klaasens was slow to take the kick. During this time Seagulls's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes got control of the ball when Affan Talaykut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anıl Mücahit Usun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jan-Joost Smeekes made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Wilco Owusu Abeyie made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Affan Talaykut made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Joost Smeekes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hakkı Kenan Durna charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Kenan Durna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Hakkı Kenan Durna got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Wilco Owusu Abeyie got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wilco Owusu Abeyie hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Yiğitcan Samih notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğitcan Samih came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Schröer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kubilay Talay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Schröer in the 90th minute of the match. Kurt Schröer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kubilay Talay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gökcan Onkal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the TÜRKİSTAN 61 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
