In the 10th match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Stühling to maneuver through the defense. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Rafel in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Enekoitz in the 17th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Rafel took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Amador Rafel sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Joost Smeekes was a little too slow when Damaso Enekoitz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 31st minute, Carsten Klaasens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Enekoitz got free with Jan-Joost Smeekes in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Floris Stühling was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, one of Seagulls:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Seagulls. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Cipriano Santiago got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. 42 minutes into the game, Santo Satordi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralf Talsma's late challenge caught a lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Talsma helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc booed when Seagulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Talsma didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The supporters of lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc booed when Seagulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilco Owusu Abeyie didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc fully deserved thier win.
