Simon Ritchie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredão Mesquita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Mesquita got free with Simon Ritchie in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Enekoitz came free, but Rony Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davi Rossi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Simon Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Guimarães in the 27th minute of the match. Téo Guimarães's late challenge caught a lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Téo Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Enekoitz in the 31st minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Rony Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Rony Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rius in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute Amador Rafel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Rafel scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rony Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santo Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Paiva having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Vides to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredão Mesquita to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sport Club Mavericks:s goal. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Sport Club Mavericks. Mateus Novaes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Simon Ritchie. 2-1. Rony Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Satordi in the 62nd minute of play. Rony Paiva made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mauro Rius sent off a good shot on target. Sport Club Mavericks's Rony Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Satordi in the 69th minute of play. When Alfredão Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Mavericks's protests and gave Alfredão Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Mesquita. Ildefonso Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Mauro Rius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rony Paiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Rius slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 81st minute.
