Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roman Hernandez made the kick off which started today's match. When Iosif Călin fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC STEAUA's protests and gave Iosif Călin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Călin to maneuver through the defense. UFC STEAUA's Ernest Obreja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Ticho in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Edelmiro Ticho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeyra F.C. and the UFC STEAUA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Ticho to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Costică Mangra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lázaro Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Obreja having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Hernandez in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Obreja saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. In the 14th match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Bostan to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, UFC STEAUA's Dragoş Bojonca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 20th minute Costică Mangra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Evaristo Jorrin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ioan Oțeteleșanu got free with Jacinto Nuxila in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Corneliu Hurezeanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacinto Nuxila. Corneliu Hurezeanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Corneliu Hurezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Costică Mangra put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto Nuxila. 39 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Mangra came free, but Jacinto Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Costică Mangra from a close distance when the talented Jacinto Nuxila managed to make a qualified save. Almeyra F.C.'s players were relieved. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Bărăian in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iosif Călin. The crowd rose to their feet as UFC STEAUA's Corneliu Hurezeanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacinto Nuxila. That made the score 5-0 after 48 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costică Mangra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Mangra came free, but Jacinto Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57th play minutes Costică Mangra shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jacinto Nuxila and just under the crossbar into goal. Jacinto Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Bărăian in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Lázaro Ascencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliodor Bărăian kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Edelmiro Ticho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Mangra came free, but Jacinto Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Nuxila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costică Mangra's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Lázaro Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Obreja having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Iosif Călin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ioan Oțeteleșanu took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Nuxila. Jacinto Nuxila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 83 minutes into the match, Corneliu Hurezeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Nuxila. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corneliu Hurezeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jacinto Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Bărăian in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Oțeteleșanu in the 89th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Oțeteleșanu in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UFC STEAUA fully deserved thier win.
