Cresitobalo Candela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Charradi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Bilbo De Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofiane Charradi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Brahim Charradi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nils-Erik Lövkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiane Charradi in the 18th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Cresitobalo Candela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Auriolam II C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Bocklund took the corner. Brahim Charradi made a great header on Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's corner, it was just that Auriolam II C.F.'s Cresitobalo Candela managed to reach the ball for a save. Nils-Erik Lövkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cresitobalo Candela having to interfere. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Bocklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cresitobalo Candela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Marko Collin hit a great ball. Sofiane Charradi scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cresitobalo Candela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute Sofiane Charradi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresitobalo Candela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingmar Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auriolam II C.F.. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Sofiane Charradi had several of the Auriolam II C.F.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Cresitobalo Candela as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jim Frisck sped through Auriolam II C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cresitobalo Candela. Cresitobalo Candela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiane Charradi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Auriolam II C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cresitobalo Candela should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Cresitobalo Candela threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sofiane Charradi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute, Brahim Charradi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Erik Lövkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ingmar Hellström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
