Atilano Monico struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ernest Obreja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus Argentina FC. In the 9th match minute, Juventus Argentina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Iosif Călin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernabe Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Mangra in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Mangra in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Vito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dragoş Bojonca kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Martin Albu. Bernabe Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Hurezeanu in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Cristobal Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Iosif Călin managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC STEAUA's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Călin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costică Mangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Vito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneliu Hurezeanu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Bernardo Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ramond came free, but Ernest Obreja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Bernabe Vito managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when UFC STEAUA's Costică Mangra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Costică Mangra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Bernabe Vito made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Juventus Argentina FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Ixona. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Costică Mangra made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eliodor Bărăian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UFC STEAUA's Ioan Oțeteleșanu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Vito came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC STEAUA's Costică Mangra. But to his dismay, Costică Mangra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Costică Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Vito having to interfere. Bernabe Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Mangra in the 61st minute of the match. Ioan Oțeteleșanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Vito having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Bostan in the 66th minute of play forced Juventus Argentina FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Oțeteleșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bernabe Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Vito having to interfere. A hard shot 72 in the game by Igor Ramond from a close distance when the talented Ernest Obreja managed to make a qualified save. UFC STEAUA's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petrică Bostan during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Bostan to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Atilano Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Atilano Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Bostan. Ernest Obreja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bernabe Vito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costică Mangra's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. With his leg Ernest Obreja managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Juventus Argentina FC's Igor Ramond fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bonifacio Ixona hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juventus Argentina FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UFC STEAUA.
