After having played for 16 minutes, Brahim Charradi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brahim Charradi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Lundström hit a great ball. Edelmiro Ticho, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hans Bocklund came free, but Elias Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sofiane Charradi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brahim Charradi in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Charradi came free, but Elias Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Brahim Charradi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Elorri. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brahim Charradi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Lázaro Ascencio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Österlund. 36 minutes into the game, Celso Sein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Étoile Sportive Du Sahel the free kick. In the 36th minute, Celso Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Robert Kilberg in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almeyra F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Lázaro Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Hernandez was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Robert Kilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Kilberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sofiane Charradi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Elorri. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. Brahim Charradi scored 1-4 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Elorri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henric Haraldsson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Elias Elorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel. Elias Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Charradi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Lázaro Ascencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Kurt Österlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hans Bocklund hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Kilberg got free with Elias Elorri in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Charradi in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a corner. Almeyra F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Bocklund ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hans Bocklund made a great header on Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's corner, it was just that Almeyra F.C.'s Elias Elorri managed to reach the ball for a save. After 83 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Sofiane Charradi made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Henric Haraldsson hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Robert Kilberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Elorri, 2-6. Almeyra F.C.'s Edelmiro Ticho pulled a muscle in his leg after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 94 minutes of play Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Sven-Edvin Lundström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sven-Edvin Lundström hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Almeyra F.C.'s Lázaro Ascencio tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
